History
In the 1940s the Army began kennel "Red Star" to a dog breed for its own needs, based on a breeding program, the Soviet canine experts had designed. Description
The Russian Terrier is a stout up to 72 cm large working dog. Females can be distinguished clearly from the larger and stronger males. He is black with gray Stichelhaar, between hard, dense, tight fitting, 4-10 cm long, coarse hair. At the upper lip, he has a rough, brush-like mustache, a beard on the lower jaw.
